Overview
Inspired by the vibrant energy of the race and influenced by the iconic leaders' jerseys of the Tour De France™, we designed a unique print to vividly capture the essence of the peloton from an aerial perspective. This distinctive pattern, adorned in the classic Tour yellow, not only showcases the challenging climbs and exhilarating speeds of the race but also pays homage to the enduring partnership between our entities, with subtle shapes reminiscent of the Oakley logo revealed upon closer examination.
With the best athletes in the world constantly seeking an edge, that sentiment helped inspire the creation of Encoder Strike. Building on learnings from Team Oakley® athletes, designers blended functional needs with heritage elements to create a frame that offers a premium solution for athletes seeking peak performance. The lens shape, enabled by PhysioMorphic™ Geometry and in a cut inspired by one of our heritage styles, Razor Blades, offers coverage and style. At the same time, the sunglasses’ ventilated design allows for optimal airflow. The frame is made of O Matter™ material to provide strength, comfort, and durability.
Lastly, the Tour de France™ collection comes with a custom sublimated print microbag and box sleeve.
