Wiley X uses a series of tests to test the safety of their different kinds of safety eyewear, included but not limited to a high mass impact test, a high-velocity impact test, and for some, ballistics tests. Lens Tints
Wiley X is committed to providing some of the clearest lenses. All Wiley X lenses are held to the highest ANSI standards for clarity, whether they are regular, or tinted. Wiley X offers a wide range of lens colors, including many polarized lenses. Their polarized lenses reduce glare and block reflective light, which helps with eye health, and a number of outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Wiley X also has their Captivate lenses of which there are eight different colors. Captivate lenses enhance color, to give more contrast, and vivid detail while blocking harmful UV and HEV blue light rays. All of their sunglass lenses are held to the highest ANSI standards for safety and clarity.
